Te Whare Hapori o Ngā Puna Waiora is buzzing!

May 23, 2024

We’ve been back in the refurbished community centre for almost a year now, and our calendar of hires has mostly filled up with exciting new regular offerings, epic one-off events and everything in between – from dance classes to Death Cafes, there's a lot on offer. We have a fully-fitted theatre with lights and sound, a dance hall with barre and mirror, rooms for hui and an awesome kitchen ready for all of your kai needs! Local musician Dave Wilson recently held an album release in the theatre with a full quintet and string quartet – check out the photos below for a taste of the epic night.

If you’re getting some FOMO (fear of missing out) ‘cause you didn’t hear about these events, make sure to check out our timetable, follow us on social media and sign up to our e-newsletter.

If you’re feeling inspired and want to run a class, play a gig or gather some friends or whānau together in a beautiful and comfortable space, check out our hiring page here and fill in the form to express your interest!
