​Please Note: The Newtown Community Centre will be closed from 21st December - 13th February due to extensive repairs to the building taking place. Some classes have been moved to other locations such as Newtown Hall or Network Newtown, contact the organiser of the group you are interested in to find out. Classes organised by us have dates and venues marked below. Eryn & Renee will be working from Smart Newtown from 15th January, give us a call on 04 389 4786 if you have any questions. 

MONDAY

Body Strengthening 
Janeen from Big, Bold & Beautiful leads a fun exercise class for all ages and stages. Sessions alternate weekly between Step Aerobics and Stretch/Pilates. $2 per class.

Laughter Yoga
Laughter “Yoga” is a deceptively simple yet very powerful form of exercise, combining laughter exercises with yogic breathing (quite different from traditional yoga with postures). Contact Elza for more info: vanboxel4@gmail.com. Start date February 26th At Newtown Hall on Daniell Street.

Kyokushin Karate

The NRA is a group of residents, business owners and people who work & play locally, who care about the community and local issues. Improve your fitness and balance, for those with some tai chi experience. $2 per session.

Hula Fix
