Inside the Community Centre (Rintoul/Colombo street):
We have a variety of halls and meeting rooms available for hire by individuals, community groups, and corporate organisations at affordable rates. Please Scroll down to see all the separate venues housed inside this one building! Our rates of hire are below. All are at the discretion of our Kaiwhakahaere / Manager .
Please see our Accessibility Information page if you have any access requirements, or feel free to call us on 04 389 4786 if you'd like to talk to us directly about an accessibility need.
Due to being recently renovated, currently we are hiring during our office hours 9am - 4.30pm until we’ve resolved some outstanding work on the space. We appreciate your patience with this process and we’re so excited to have a bustling community centre once more!
Please note : Wi-Fi is not currently available, though we're working on getting Wi-Fi connections throughout the building for all hirers and the public.
All venues at Rintoul/Colombo Street have access to our shared kitchen & bathrooms (one accessible with baby change station and four all gendered single toilets).
All venues require a bond to be paid - this is refundable, but ensures our keys are returned and the venue left in good condition - this is a sliding scale and depends on the nature of the event. This will be confirmed at your time of booking.
